Learn how to troubleshoot common issues in the McKinsey Accelerate App.

How can I get access​ on my mobile phone?

The McKinsey Accelerate App is available on Android and iOS mobile devices and can be downloaded using the links below:

Please note, McKinsey Accelerate is not supported on mobile devices via a web browser.

Logging into the app:

  • Enter the URL for your organization (if you do not know it, you can select the link from your welcome email or type in the URL you use to access McKinsey Accelerate on your desktop device).

o​ ​ ​ ​ If using a username and password, enter your details to log in.

o​ ​ ​ ​ If using SSO, select SSO.

  • You'll be able to sign in without the URL next time.

What do I do if my screen doesn't load or is blank​ in the app?

If your screen is blank or loads indefinitely:

  • Check that your internet connection is working, and make sure you are running the latest version of Android or iOS on your device
  • If the above steps don’t work , try closing the app and logging back in , be sure to press the sign in button only once and wait
  • If restarting the app does not work, uninstall and reinstall the app

The app prompts me for a Platform URL and I don't know how to get past that page.

For non-SSO clients:

Now that you have the app downloaded, complete the following steps:

  • Select this link "academy.mckinseyaccelerate.com,"or type it into the app.
  • Select the 'Proceed to login page' button.
  • Enter your McKinsey Academy username and password.

For SSO clients:

Now that you have the app downloaded, complete the following steps:

  • Select the link or type in the link from your program launch communication.
  • Select the 'Proceed to login page' button.
  • Enter your McKinsey Academy username and password.

What do I do if I see a 404 error​ or the platform stops loading?

If you see an error (such as 404) or the platform stops working, try closing the app and logging back in.

If restarting the app does not work, uninstall and reinstall the app.

What do I do if ​ the language​ of my content in the app is not my preferred language?

The McKinsey Accelerate App will follow the preferred language set on your mobile device. If you want your mobile app content to be in your preferred language, set your mobile device language to match your preference.
